Chinese pianist Lang Lang served as one of the torchbearers for the Paris Olympics as the relay headed away from the Pantheon in Paris on Sunday.
Wearing a jersey marked No. 33, the musician considered himself lucky to have his number coincide with the fact that the Paris Games is the 33rd edition of the Summer Olympics. The renowned musician ran about three minutes for the relay, interacted with tourists on the side, and sent greetings via video.
The torch relay journeys next to Saint-Quentin, before it circles back to the French Capital on July 26 when the opening ceremony is set to take place.
