Rescue work is underway in southwest China after Chongqing was hit by heavy rain and flooding. The Chongqing Hydrological Monitoring Station reported that from July 13 to 14, heavy rain swept through 28 districts and counties in Chongqing. As of July 14, six rivers in Chongqing had exceeded warning levels, including two rivers exceeding safety levels.
