Pakistan seeks to ban Imran Khan's party, says information minister

The Pakistani government has decided to ban former Prime Minister Imran Khan's Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party over alleged involvement in "anti-state activities," Pakistani Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar said on Monday.
The federal government will refer the case to the supreme court, he added, according to local media.
