The 2008 Beijing Olympic emblem creatively incorporates the traditional Chinese seal and calligraphy, transforming the Chinese character "jing" from "Beijing" into an artistic representation of an athlete in motion. The emblem is imbued with a deep sense of Chinese heritage, blending traditional art forms with the spirit of athleticism.

For the 2024 Paris Olympics, the emblem is composed of three elements: a gold medal, the Olympic flame, and Marianne, a national symbol of France that reflects the identity and values of the French people.
