Breakdancing will make its debut as an Olympic sport at the Paris 2024 Games, which will kick off on July 26.

On April 17 CGTN launched the "Dance for Peace" global breaking challenge to mark the 100-day countdown to the sports event.

Younès Al Hajjami Winston is a French breakdancer. He picked up dancing at an early age thanks to his father, Hassan Al Hajjami, who is also an award-winning dancer, having claimed titles in French and European popping championships. In this video, the father and son share how breakdancing has evolved in France and how it represents the spirit of the country.

Younès believes that the debut of breakdancing in Paris 2024 will bring new opportunities for the sport. "I will keep competing in battles and having fun. The recognition of the audience is what I live for."
