The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has raised China's 2024 economic growth forecast to 5 percent from its previous 4.6 percent outlook in April. Li Yong, chief researcher at D&C Thinktank, says that the IMF's forecast shows its increasing confidence in China's economic resilience and government policies.
