Molten iron fireworks: A starry night symphony

01:15

Blazing molten iron, heated to a temperature of 1,600 degrees Celsius, sprays out in voluminous arcs that burst into dazzling sparks and light up the night sky like stars. This is Datiehua, a unique molten iron fireworks display that originated in China more than 1,000 years ago.

With 108 local villagers performing this magnificent folk custom, along with music and dance, the molten iron fireworks show in Situ Town, Jincheng City, Shanxi Province set the Guinness World Record for the largest molten iron fireworks display in April this year. This breathtaking show is staged every evening, providing visitors with an unforgettable visual experience.
