The UCCA Center for Contemporary Art, China's leading independent contemporary art institution, has announced the launch of its newest museum, UCCA Clay, scheduled to open in October 2024.

Situated in Yixing, China's "City of Ceramics," about a two-hour drive west of Shanghai, the 2,400-square-meter museum will focus on contemporary ceramic art and culture. It also aims to promote exchanges between practitioners of traditional local arts and customs and the global contemporary art scene.
