The China Media Group (CMG), as one of the primary broadcasters for the upcoming 2024 Summer Olympics, has dispatched a production and broadcasting team of more than 2,000 people to Paris.

The frontline staff have been setting up a working area of over 1,500 square meters at the International Broadcast Centre (IBC) in the French capital since mid-June, with a transcontinental Olympic broadcasting cloud platform based on CMG's media cloud established to provide various production tools including video, audio, picture and text editing, merging and packaging.

CMG began to set up its ultra-high-definition broadcasting system at the location shooting site and television studio at the Eiffel Tower and IBC on July 3. The construction work is expected to be completed by Saturday.

CMG will deploy nearly 40 media convergence groups at different venues during the 2024 Summer Olympics, ready to provide first-class, professional reports to its audience through a series of premium programs.
