China is a powerhouse when it comes to hosting top international exhibitions and trade shows. Canton Fair, China International Import Expo and Shanghai International Film Festival are among the most popular events hosted by China. Josef Gregory Mahoney, professor of politics at East China Normal University, says these exhibitions have greatly encouraged trade around the world.
