The 38th National Lotus Exhibition officially opened on July 5 and will run until August 31 in Wuxi, east China's Jiangsu Province. This year's event is set in the picturesque Taihu Lake scenic areas, featuring three main exhibition zones: the Yuantouzhu (a peninsula), the Guanshe Shanzhuang (an open wetland park), and Liyuan Garden.

Over 90 organizations all over the world are participating in the event, showcasing nearly 1,000 varieties of lotuses and water lilies. The exhibition boasts more than 10,000 potted lotuses.
