Local authorities in Shaanxi Province and Henan Province sent rescuers to repair infrastructure and save trapped residents in flooded areas amid continuous heavy downpours.

A total of 110 firefighters, 18 vehicles and 13 rescue boats were dispatched to the affected areas for rescue operations. As of 6 a.m. on July 19, rescue efforts concluded with a total of 532 trapped residents safely evacuated, over 1,000 sandbags filled and more than 100 meters of dikes reinforced.
