China has an increasingly aging population. Data shows there were 280 million people aged 60 and above in the country at the end of 2022, accounting for 19.8 percent of the entire population.
With the rapid development of the aged care sector, new challenges have emerged, necessitating more efforts to push monitoring in aged care to another level.
CGTN talked to Guo Shijie, a professor from the School of Mechanical Engineering at Hebei University of Technology, who shared his insights on dealing with the challenging issue of an aging population.
