How to escape the scorching summer heat? Visit Jichang Garden, where the lush greenery might bring you a moment of inner peace. As you stroll through the garden, you'll find that every plant, stone, and water feature is imbued with life.
Jichang Garden is a classical Chinese garden located in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, east China. It is one of the representative works of Jiangnan gardens. Its name is derived from a phrase by Wang Xizhi, a famous calligrapher of the Eastern Jin Dynasty (303–361), "Jichang Mountain Water Shade," and it was built during the Ming (1368–1644) and Qing (1644–1912) dynasties.
As the Major Heat solar term approaches, come to Jichang Garden. Sit quietly in a corner, listen to the wind, admire the moon, and experience the unique elegance of Jiangnan.
