The exhibition "On Top of the Pyramid: The Civilization of Ancient Egypt" opened to the public on July 19 in Shanghai. The largest of its kind held outside Egypt over the past two decades, the exhibition is co-hosted by the Shanghai Museum and the Supreme Council of Antiquities of Egypt. The exhibition is showcasing a total of 788 precious artifacts from Egypt, with over 95 percent of them being exhibited for the first time in Asia, along with ancient Chinese artifacts.
