Airports, railway stations, and ports across China are experiencing a surge in passenger flow during the summer vacation period. In northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, the Horgos Port is seeing a daily peak of 3,800 travelers, reaching up to 5,000 at its busiest times. Horgos has become a popular gateway to Kazakhstan, with direct bus routes facilitated by the mutual visa exemption between China and Kazakhstan. Urumqi Airport has also set a new record with 101,000 travelers in a single day, averaging 94,000 daily. Railway passenger traffic in northeast China's Heilongjiang Province, including cities like Harbin and Mohe, has notably increased during the summer. Tourism has also seen significant growth in the eastern coastal city of Qingdao, with its airport handling a new record of 89,300 travelers.
