The first special session of the International Youth Poetry Festival for BRICS countries kicked off on Friday in east China's Hangzhou City and capital Beijing. The festival features 49 poets from Brazil, Russia, India, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Iran and Ethiopia, alongside 23 Chinese poets. Amidst the lull of the break, poets spontaneously broke into verse in a cozy corner of the hotel lobby.
