Rescuers are evacuating disaster-affected residents and still searching for the missing while providing them relief items after heavy rain caused flash flooding in Xinhua village, Hanyuan County, under Ya'an City. The disaster occurred at around 2:30 a.m. on Saturday, damaging over 40 houses and affecting 1,524 residents. The Hanyuan People's Hospital, in collaboration with the 120 Emergency Medical Center, tried to guarantee timely medical treatment for the injured.
