The Paris Summer Olympics gymnastics competitions will be held at the Bercy Arena, which is also a host site for the trampoline and basketball events.

Gymnastics action will get underway on Saturday, July 27, with 14 golds up for grabs.

The Bercy Arena in Paris looks like a pyramid from the outside and is covered with grass. The venue was completed in 1984 and has staged many high-level events including the Paris Tennis Masters and European Handball Championships.

The China Media Group (CMG) is in charge of the international live broadcast signal for the gymnastics events in the French capital, with two techniques upgraded, including multi-camera replays.

Meanwhile, China's gymnastics team has arrived at the Olympic Village. The squad claimed three golds, three silvers, and two bronzes at the pandemic-delayed Tokyo Summer Olympics three years ago and the team's deputy leader, Lu Bin, says they are looking forward to the competitions.

"We've been training in Monceau, which is 300 kilometers away from Paris, and the men's team arrived at the Olympic Village one day before the women," he said.

"The male athletes are getting better and better, and made adjustments in their last training session, while the females had an open training session, and we are quite excited about the competitions."
