The State Duma adopted an amendment according to which it may be allowed for a foreigner to enter his country of citizenship through the state border using documents that have expired or have technical faults, if the documents allow identification. The amendment was supported in the second reading of the draft law aimed at introducing an expulsion regime for foreign citizens who have no legal grounds to stay in Russia.
