The medals for the 2024 Summer Olympics were placed on display at one of the China Media Group's (CMG) studios in Paris on Tuesday.

The medals haven't been seen much in public since their official unveiling in February. This set was delivered by the Olympic Broadcasting Services (OBS) to the studio through its strong relationship with CMG and its identity as one of the main broadcasters for the 2024 Paris Summer Games.

Each medal features, in its center, a hexagon-shaped piece of iron taken from the Eiffel Tower.

According to Tony Estanguet, President of the Paris 2024 Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Games, this design makes each of these objects, which were produced by French jewelry house Chaumet, unique and singular.

OBS also brought a torch for the 2024 Olympics to the studio. The torch relay went through the Palace of Versailles in Yvelines on Tuesday.
