Located in front of the Di'anmen Gate in Beijing and also on the central axis of the city, Wanning Bridge has a long and glorious history in the capital. Built with stone slabs and white marble railings, the ancient bridge features delicate lotus flower and vase patterns, representing the traditional style and aesthetics of Chinese architecture. As part of China's Grand Canal heritage network, it was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2014.
