Palestinian factions, including rivals Hamas and Fatah, have agreed to end their long-time division and strengthen Palestinian unity. They signed the Beijing Declaration in the Chinese capital on Tuesday. Wang Jin, director of the Center for Israel Studies at Northwest University, says that it signals a new opportunity for peace.
