Recently, a photographer captured a rare close-up of a wild lynx in northeast China's Heilongjiang Gongbiela River National Nature Reserve. The lynx, less than 10 meters away, gazes into the camera for a while before retreating into the forest. Also known as the mountain cat, it is a fierce medium-sized predator.
