A man was killed and two others were injured on Thursday in a Ukrainian attack on the town of Shebekino in Russia's southern Belgorod region, the governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said on the Telegram messaging app.

The attack damaged two apartment buildings, the production facilities of an industrial enterprise, a commercial building and one passenger car, he added. 

There was no immediate comment from Ukrainian authorities.
