The Opening Ceremony of the Paris Olympics is set to get underway on the River Seine in the French capital on Friday evening.

CGTN has launched a newly built virtual broadcast studio to present an immersive experience in Paris using state-of-the-art AR and VR technology.

Sports Scene's Mike Fox and his AI avatar co-host, Ainia, will accompany viewers to travel along the River Seine. Various landmark buildings will be presented throughout the journey.
