CMG to enhance cooperation with French national Olympic committee

China Media Group (CMG) and the French National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOSF) agreed to deepen cooperation in sports broadcasting ahead of the Summer Olympics Games which is scheduled to open Friday evening in the French capital, Paris. 

During his meeting with CNOSF President David Lappartient, CMG President Shen Haixiong said that CMG's broadcasting of the Paris Olympics with a record-breaking scale will incorporate 5G+4K/8K+AI technologies to present a sporting feast for millions of viewers in the world.

Lappartient said he expected more people will better understand France, fall in love with France and come to France because of CMG.

Lappartient is also chair of the International Olympic Committee's Esports and Gaming Liaison Group.

Both sides also agreed on more cooperation in esports and the 2030 Winter Olympic Games in the French Alps.

CNOSF is France's national Olympic committee. Its first president, French educator Pierre de Coubertin is known as the father of the modern Olympic Games.
