Chen Yiwen and Chang Yani of China won the women's synchronized 3-meter springboard diving gold medal at the 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris on Saturday, adding the second title for the team.
The Chinese pair got 337.68 points in total, beating 314.64 by Sarah Bacon and Kassidy Cook of the USA as well as 302.28 by Yasmin Harper and Scarlett Mew Jensen of Britain.
Chen and Chang led in every dive, starting with a 201B back dive in the first attempt and ending with a 5152B forward 2-1/2 somersaults 1 twist in the final dive.
"Our biggest wish this year was to win in Paris," the two said. "Our small wish was to complete every detail in the best way."
