A Russian naval fleet arrived in Cuba's Havana Harbor on July 27 for a four-day visit. The training vessel Smolniy, a supply ship and other support vessels are all from Russia's Baltic Fleet. The Smolniy fired a 21-gun salute when entering the port, while the Cuban side fired a gun salute in response. The Russian officers and sailors will engage in exchange events, including meeting Cuba's provincial officials, military officers and touring cultural historical and cultural attractions.
