At least 10 people died and 897 others were injured after Typhoon Gaemi swept across China's Taiwan region, local authorities said on Sunday.
Two people remain missing on the island as disruptions caused by Gaemi like road blocks, roadbed collapse and landslides remain in cities including Hualien, Kaohsiung and Yilan.
Typhoon Gaemi, the third typhoon of this year, made landfall in eastern Taiwan's Yilan County at around midnight on July 25 before it landed again in Fujian Province.
