In the western Canadian province of Alberta, wildfires raging in the tourist town of Jasper have come under control. But some 400 firefighters are still battling other blazes nearby that could go on for months. Around 25,000 residents and tourists have been evacuated. An evacuation order remains in place. Parks Canada says the wildfire was the park's largest blaze in a century. The fires have destroyed about a third of the town.
