Lian Junjie and Yang Hao won top honors in the men's synchronized 10-meter platform diving final at the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics on Monday, adding the fourth gold for China at the Games in the French capital.
Lian and Yang scored a total of 490.35 points after six dives, beating silver medalists Noah Williams and Tom Daley of Great Britain (463.44) by more than 26 points. Nathan Zsombor-Murray and Rylan Wiens of Canada rounded out the podium with bronze.
The veteran Chinese pair led in every round and steadily extended their advantage on each dive before wrapping up the victory in dominant fashion.
