Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Monday that Israel would give a strong response to the weekend attack on the Golan Heights that killed 12 children.
"The state of Israel will not and cannot let this pass. Our response will come, and it will be harsh," he said according to a statement from his office released following a visit to Majdal Shams, the site of the strike, which Israel blames on Hezbollah, the Lebanon-based militant group. Hezbollah has denied they are responsible for the attack.
