China Eastern Airlines (CEA) has received its seventh domestically developed C919 passenger plane from the Commercial Aircraft Corp of China on Monday in Shanghai.
The delivery was completed in a short flight from the Shanghai Pudong International Airport to the Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport. The plane, coded B-919H, is the third C919 aircraft received by CEA this year.
At Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport, four routes are served by the C919 aircraft: to Chengdu Tianfu International Airport in Sichuan Province; to Beijing Daxing International Airport; to Xi'an Xianyang International Airport in Shaanxi Province; and to Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport in Guangdong Province.
As of July 28, the C919 has carried out 3,031 commercial flights, carrying nearly 405,000 passengers, since the aircraft's maiden commercial flight on May 28, 2023.
