Located in Chuxiong City in southwest China's Yunnan Province, the Ten-Month Solar Calendar Park was built to celebrate the culture and art of the Yi ethnic group. It gets its name from the calendar that the Yi people historically used, and has become the new venue for the local Torch Festival celebrations and a destination for city dwellers to enjoy nature and exercise. According to the Yi calendar, a year is divided into 10 months with five seasons. Each month has 36 days, and two months constitute a season. Join our live view of this picturesque park.
