Looking for something unique to do in China this summer? Consider the Yi Torch Festival in Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province! Nicknamed "The Carnival of the East," the festival is a major event for the Yi ethnic group in southwest China. The festival usually lasts about a week and includes festivities such as a costume parade, beauty pageants, musical performances and a nighttime bonfire party.
