Demonstrators on Sunday took to the streets near the venue of the "2+2" security talks between Japanese and U.S. diplomats and defense chiefs in Tokyo to protest against the military alliance between the two countries.
The protesters warned the alliance stirred up the regional situation and condemned the various crimes committed by the American troops stationed in Japan's southernmost prefecture, Okinawa.
