Two oriental pied hornbill chicks emerged from their nest on a cliff in the Guangxi Encheng National Nature Reserve and followed their parents into the dense forest. This hornbill couple has nested and raised their young in the same cliff cavity for six consecutive years. The oriental pied hornbill is a national first-class protected wildlife species, and the population in the reserve has reached 13.
