The Chinese Foreign Ministry on Wednesday announced countermeasures against U.S. lawmaker Jim McGovern over his words and deeds in recent years that have interfered in China's internal affairs and undermined its sovereignty, security and development interests.
The decision comes into force from July 31, according to the statement.
