Venezuela has decided to cut diplomatic relations with Peru. This comes after a statement by Peruvian Foreign Minister Javier Gonzalez-Olaechea. It said Peru recognizes opposition candidate Edmundo Gonzalez Urrutia as "president-elect," despite incumbent Nicolas Maduro being declared the winner by the National Electoral Council.
