The eighth China-South Asia Expo was held from July 23 to 28, with Pakistan as the guest country of honor. As one of the most significant trade exchange events between the two regions, the expo attracted over 2,000 enterprises from South Asian countries and other parts of the world. During the event, CGTN reporter Yang Jinghao spoke with Pakistani Ambassador to China Khalil Hashmi, who shared his insights on the expo's positive impact and his vision for future cooperation between Pakistan and China amid the latter's high-level opening up.
