Dragon boat racing has been featured as a demonstration sport at the 2024 Olympics. And Paris' first women's team of this exciting water sport, mainly composed of breast cancer survivors, participated in the torch relay. Since it was established in 2016, the team has been practicing on a weekly basis for the past eight years. Team leader Carole designed a logo with intertwined dragons and phoenixes, reflecting their journey of overcoming pain and rising anew. The team said it is proud to represent Chinese culture in Paris, especially during this milestone year for France-China relations.
