Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah on Thursday said the war against Israel has entered a "new phase." He made the warning at the funeral in south Beirut of his No. 2 man, Fuad Shukr, who was killed in an Israeli air strike this week. The tensions have escalated to new heights as Hezbollah fired a barrage of rockets into Israel's Western Galilee in the late hours of Thursday local time, and in response, the Israel Air Force (IAF) struck the Hezbollah rocket launchers in the area of Yater in south Lebanon.
