The Ningxia section of the Yinchuan-Kunming Expressway has passed assessment and appraisal and is ready to open to traffic. All traffic facilities have met the required standards during the inspection of this section of the expressway. The Yinchuan-Kunming Expressway, spanning 2,322 kilometers with a design speed of up to 100 kilometers per hour, starts in Yinchuan City of Ningxia, passes through Gansu, Shaanxi, Sichuan, and Chongqing, and ends in Kunming City of Yunnan Province.
