Photography enthusiasts recently captured footage of two adult and two young Chinese crested terns resting by the seaside in Nantong City, Jiangsu Province. The Chinese crested tern, a first-class protected animal in China, is known as a "mythical bird" because it's rarely seen. However, over the past five years, the bird has been spotted several times in the coastal areas of Rudong County in Nantong. Experts will strengthen their research on the bird's migration and protection based on the sightings.
