The Chinese-made BOYM, the world's largest multipurpose heavy lift vessel (HLV), was delivered to east China's Jiangsu Province on August 7. Built by the Chinese-Polish Joint Stock Shipping Company based in Shanghai, the HLV is 199.9 meters long, 32.26 meters wide, and has a depth of 19.3 meters, with a full-load draft of 13.5 meters. BOYM is the sixth vessel from the company in their multipurpose HLV series. The previous five vessels have successfully undertaken various tasks along shipping routes in North America, Europe, South America, Australia and New Zealand.
