Chinese athletes won a total of 10 medals – including four golds, two silvers and four bronzes – on Friday at the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics.
Ma Long, Fan Zhendong and Wang Chuqin of China beat Anton Kallberg, Kristian Karlsson and Truls Moregard of Sweden 3-0 in the men's team table tennis final, extending the country's Olympic winning streak in the event to five in a row.
The victory also made Ma the first Chinese athlete to claim six gold medals in the history of the Games.
Chen Yiwen continued China's dominance in the women's 3-meter springboard diving event by winning Friday's final with 376 points. The country has now produced the winner in this event for 10 straight editions of the Olympics. Chen's compatriot Chang Yani earned the bronze medal with 318.75 points, while the silver went to Maddison Keeney of Australia with 343.1 points.

Xu Shixiao and Sun Mengya broke the Olympic record twice to retain the women's canoe double 500-meter gold for China. They first finished the semifinals in a new record time of 1:53.73, and then lowered the mark again by winning the final in 1:52.81.
Wu Yu clinched China's 33rd gold at the Paris Games by defeating Buse Naz Cakıroglu of Türkiye 3-1 in the women's 50-kilogram boxing final. Her triumph marked the country's second title in the sport in the French capital.
Wu's compatriot Yang Liu added a silver medal for China after facing Imane Khelif of Algeria in the women's 66-kilogram final.
The country's other silver on Friday came from women's field hockey, where China fell to the Netherlands 3-1 in a shootout after a 1-1 draw in regulation time, but still tied its best-ever finish at the Olympics.

Chinese breaker Liu Qingyi wrapped up the sport's historic debut at the Games with a bronze medal after outperforming India Sardjoe of the Netherlands 2-1. Ami Yuasa of Japan won the gold by outlasting Dominika Banevic of Lithuania in the final.
Song Jiayuan of China threw 19.32 meters to secure the bronze medal in the women's shot put final. Yemisi Ogunleye of Germany claimed the gold with a best effort of 20.00 meters, while Maddison-Lee Wesche of New Zealand bagged the bronze with personal-best 19.86 meters.
Hong Kexin earned bronze for China in women's freestyle wrestling's 57-kilogram division by defeating Giullia Penalber of Brazil. Helen Maroulis of the USA pinned Hannah Taylor of Canada to claim the other bronze medal in the weight class, while Tsugumi Sakurai of Japan beat Anastasia Nichita of Moldova 6-0 in the final to take gold.
