Elderly people living in a community in Yangquan City, in northern China's Shanxi Province, made colorful steamed buns to mark Qixi Festival, the Chinese version of Valentine's Day, which falls on August 10 this year. Their deft hands created bunches of "flowers" out of the dough, which were then steamed. The community office sent the bun flowers to some elderly couples to wish them well.
