August 10 marks World Wushu-Kung Fu Day and this year's theme is "Wushu: Harmony, Health and Happiness." Shaolin kung fu is regarded as one of the best martial arts in the world. Shaolin kung fu not only involves powerful strikes, but also the pursuit of  a spiritual realm. Shaolin culture is known for Chan Wu Yi, which combines Zen meditation, kung fu and traditional Chinese medicine.  

Over 100 martial art masters from 47 countries and regions recently competed in the 2024 Shaolin Games Finals at Shaolin Temple in central China's Henan Province. Why does Shaolin kung fu keep attracting practitioners worldwide? CGTN reporter Mi Sutong went to the Shaolin Temple to find voices of martial arts masters from China, the U.S., Australia, South Africa, France and Serbia.
