Situated at the estuary of Quanzhou Bay in southeastern China, Lin Luan Wharf dates back to the eighth century. As the first wharf in Quanzhou to accommodate foreign trading ships, it marked the start of the ancient Maritime Silk Road, connecting with Malaysia and other Southeast Asian countries.
